I overheard some of the same. I was slightly offended because the dude was super cool off the screen, as is proven by all the stories coming out, and, he wasn't even driving. How would you feel if people laughed at your demise while riding passenger and having no control over your environment.

Probably never knew who he was and never saw any of his movies. But became experts after they read about it.

Well, I take this stance with every for some reason newsworthy death. I am fine with jokes, as I know some people deal with this stuff that way, and other people just do it naturally for everything
What I have a problem with are tasteless jokes.

Personally? I would love it, I would hate to have my death upset people, and if people could make jokes and laugh about my passing, that would be wonderful.

There is a HUGE difference between celebrating someones life, and celebrating someones death. And some idiots just don't get it.

Agreed. if it's all respectful then that's cool, but when people are asshats then tape their pie hole shut.

Agreed there is nothing funny about someone dying beforing their time.

There is a big difference between:
"Remember that time Johnny ..." "Yea. hahaha that was funny"
and
"Johnny was such a douchbag, he died in a deserving manner" " Yea, hahaha, its funny that he died".

You know if you pronounce coworkers as "cow-orkers" it makes everything much better.

I get what you're saying, yet at the same time, I have a hard time wrapping my head around the concept of someone reaching 'their time.' Either way, I echo that Paul Walker had my respect for being a passionate gearhead who argued to clean up the movie cars he used in the later entries of the F&F franchise; I think I read somewhere that the producers wanted to cover the blue R34 in "Fast & Furious" in the usual roll-call of stickers and vinyl, Walker said no way. Besides that, he got to live the dream (how I'd define it, at least) and do some time attack events and other racing. I totally buy that he had talent behind the wheel, and he kept his nose clean, seemed fairly down-to-earth, and talked about how important being a good father was to him. These are all good traits to remember someone by.
But I couldn't resist calling out "Too soon, Junior," as well. I mean it in the best way.
